Personalistyczna koncepcja kultury w ujęciu o. Jacka Woronieckiego
Abstract
Dysertacja nosząca tytuł „Personalistyczna koncepcja kultury w ujęciu o. Jacka Woronieckiego” stanowi próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie o zasadniczy zwornik jego twórczości naukowej. W części pierwszej, zatytułowanej: „Socjologizm czy personalizm? Spór o podmiot kultury”, wstępem do rozważań stał się sposób rozumienia kultury obecny w wydawnictwach słownikowych i encyklopedycznych. Z uwagi na ich socjologiczną proweniencję i właściwy jej pozytywistyczny apersonalizm, wypadało odwołać się do uniwersalnych rozwiązań obecnych w myśli greckiej, przejętej następnie przez Rzym i ubogaconych kategorią osoby przez chrześcijaństwo. W kolejnej części zatytułowanej: „Partykularyzm czy uniwersalizm? Spór o integralną wizję kultury” podjęta została problematyka przedmiotu kultury. W tym celu dokonano rekonstrukcji obecnych w myśli o. Woronieckiego klasycznie pojętych obszarów osobowej działalności człowieka, jakie stanowią nauka, moralność, sztuka i religia. Część trzecia: „Indywiduum czy osobistość? Spór o właściwy cel kultury” koncentruje się wokół problemu stanowiącego punkt dojścia kultury osobowej. Na wstępie podjęto zagadnienie charakteru, będącego wyrazem jednolitości postępowania i podstawą doskonałości moralnej człowieka. Zwieńczeniem tej problematyki jest etyczno-kulturowa kategoria osobistości stanowiąca według Woronieckiego wyraz doskonałości osobowej w wymiarze praktycznym. Przyjęta w pracy perspektywa kulturowa stanowi novum badawcze i pozwala na uchwycenie właściwej osnowy dorobku naukowego polskiego humanisty.
The dissertation entitled "The personalistic concept of culture in the approach of Father Jacek Woroniecki" is an attempt to answer the question about the fundamental keystone of his scientific work. In the first part, entitled: "Sociologism or personalism? The dispute over the subject of culture", the introduction to the considerations was the way of understanding culture present in dictionary and encyclopedia publications. Due to their sociological provenance and its inherent positivistic apersonalism, it was necessary to refer to the universal solutions present in Greek thought, later adopted by Rome and enriched with the category of the person by Christianity. The next part entitled: "Particularism or universalism? The dispute over an integral vision of culture” is devoted to the issue of the subject of culture. For this reason, the classically understood areas of human activity present in Father Woroniecki's thought were reconstructed, which are science, morality, art and religion. Part three: "Individual or personality? The dispute over the proper purpose of culture” focuses on the problem that constitutes the point of arrival of personal culture. At the beginning, we address the issue of character, which is an expression of uniformity of behavior and the basis of a person's moral perfection. The culmination of these issues is the ethical and cultural category of personality, which is an expression of personal perfection in a practical dimension. The cultural perspective adopted in the work is a research novelty and allows for capturing the proper basis of the scientific achievements of the Polish humanist.
