Cierpienie jako forma oczekiwania. Motywy chrystologiczne w poezji Marty Reszczyńskiej-Stypińskiej

Abstract

Autorka artykułu analizuje chrystologiczne motywy w poezji Marty Reszczyńskiej-Stypińskiej, szczególnie akcentując ich rolę w rozważaniach nad cierpieniem i oczekiwaniem. Twórczość Reszczyńskiej-Stypińskiej, pełna poprzez wykorzystanie bogatej symboliki chrześcijańskiej, ukazuje cierpienie jako proces duchowy, w którym oczekiwanie na zbawienie staje się motywem centralnym. Postać Chrystusa w utworach poetki wprowadzona została nie tylko jako figura Odkupiciela, ale także jako symbol cierpiącego człowieka, szczególnie w kontekście powojennych traum. Wiersze takie, jak Legenda o Chrystusiku frasobliwym oraz Maria i Marta podejmują tematykę chrystologiczną w kontekście narodowych i jednostkowych doświadczeń cierpienia, łącząc elementy religijne, historyczne oraz egzystencjalne. Reszczyńska-Stypińska w swojej liryce łączy tradycję mesjanizmu narodowego z uniwersalnym pytaniem o sens cierpienia, co wpisuje jej twórczość w szerszy kontekst literatury posttraumatycznej. Artykuł ukazuje również sposoby, w jakie cierpienie w jej poezji nabiera charakteru mistycznego i eschatologicznego, prowadząc do refleksji nad duchową rolą cierpienia jako formy oczekiwania na ostateczne wyzwolenie.

The article analyses Christological motifs in the poetry of Marta Reszczyńska-Stypińska, emphasizing their role in the consideration of suffering and expectation. Reszczyńska-Stypińska’s work, permeated with Christian symbolism, shows suffering as a spiritual process in which expectation of salvation becomes the central motif. The author introduces the figure of Christ not only as the savior, but also as the symbol of a suffering human being, especially in the context of post-war trauma. Combining religious, historical, and existential elements, the poems Legenda o Chrystusiku frasobliwym (The Legend of the Sorrowful Christ) and Maria i Marta (Maria and Martha) address the theme of Christology in the context of national and individual experiences of suffering. In her poetry, Reszczyńska-Stypińska connects the tradition of national messianism to the universal question of the meaning of suffering, which places her work in the broader context of post-traumatic literature. The article also explores the ways in which suffering in her poetry assumes a mystical and eschatological character, leading to reflections on the spiritual role of suffering as a form of waiting for the ultimate liberation.
