Crowdfunding jako nowe podejście w dostępie do kapitału: systematyka, typologia oraz analiza rynku w Europie

Abstract

We współczesnej gospodarce obserwuje się rosnące znaczenie finansowania alternatywnego, a crowdfunding stanowi jego istotny element. Crowdfunding to metoda pozyskiwania kapitału na realizację różnego rodzaju przedsięwzięć przez przedsiębiorców, organizacje non-profit, artystów czy osoby prywatne. W praktyce wykształciły się cztery główne rodzaje crowdfundingu: donacyjny, pożyczkowy, udziałowy oraz z nagrodami, pozwalając uczestnikom rynku dostosować różne modele finansowania do ich oczekiwań. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie istoty crowdfundingu oraz przeprowadzenie oceny rozwoju rynku finansowania alternatywnego (crowdfundingu) w Europie w latach 2015–2023. Do realizacji przyjętego celu wykorzystano metody badawcze: przegląd i krytyczną analizę literatury przedmiotu oraz desk research. Przeprowadzona analiza pozwala na identyfikację kluczowych trendów i wyzwań stojących przed rynkiem finansowania alternatywnego w Europie, będącym źródłem kapitału dla różnych podmiotów.

In today’s economy there is a growing importance of alternative financing, and crowdfunding is an important part of it. Crowdfunding is a method for entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, artists, or individuals to raise capital for various types of projects. In practice, four main types of crowdfunding have developed: donation, loan, share and reward crowdfunding, which allow to adapt different financing models to the expectations of market participants. The aim of the article is to present the essence of crowdfunding and to assess the development of the alternative financing market (crowdfunding) in Europe in the years 2015–2023. To achieve the adopted goal, a literature review, critical analysis of the subject literature and desk research were used as research methods. The analysis allows for the identification of key trends and challenges facing the alternative financing market in Europe, which is a source of capital for various entities.
