    Artykuł traktuje o filmie „Powiększenie” Michelangelo Antonioniego, arcydzieła kina autorskiego, którego scenariusz oparty został na opowiadaniu Julio Cortazara. Ten niemal klasyczny film ma charakter autotematyczny i podejmuje problem poznania świata przez obraz, a szczególnie poprzez fotografię. Odnosi się również do problemu kreacji w świecie popkultury. Jest jednak przede wszystkim metaforycznym dyskursem na temat bycia człowieka w świecie. Autorka podejmuje analizę filmu, w kontekście fotografii, która stanowi fabularną i estetyczną materię, a zarazem pozwala podjąć uniwersalne rozważania. The article deals with „Blowup” movie by Michelangelo Antonioni, a masterpiece of the auteur cinema, which script is based on the short story of Julio Cortazar. This almost classic movie has autothematic character and takes up the problem of getting to know the world through image, and especially through photograph. It also refers to the problem of creation in the pop culture world. However, above all it is a metaphorical discourse about being human in the world. The author of article undertakes analysis of film in the context of photography, which is a fictional and aesthetic base and also allows to make universal considerations.

    Holiness and Sin in Selected Films by Federico Fellini

    The subject of this article is the search for Christian themes presented in non-obvious ways in selected films of Federico Fellini. The analyzed films Nights of Cabiria, Rome and Sweet Life are united by the social space of Rome, marked by both the stigma of ancient culture and the Vatican, as the seat of the ecclesiastical state. The films are also tied together by the final portrait of the heroines, which has the character of a meta-linguistic personal gesture made by the director. The paintings differ in narrative style and structure, but all of them raise questions about moral principles and question or even challenge religious and cultural values in search of deeper meaning. Rome appears as a modern city of sin (the biblical Sodom and Gomorrah), where holiness and purity are increasingly difficult to find. Przedmiotem artykułu jest poszukiwanie wątków chrześcijańskich obecnych w nieoczywisty sposób w wybranych filmach Federico Felliniego. Analizowane filmy Noce Cabirii, Rzym i Słodkie życie łączy przestrzeń społeczna Rzymu, naznaczonego zarówno piętnem antycznej kultury, jak i Watykanu, jako siedziby państwa kościelnego. Filmy spaja też finałowe portretowe ujęcie bohaterek, mające charakter metajęzykowego osobistego gestu reżysera. Omawiane obrazy różnią się sposobem narracji i strukturą, ale wszystkie stawiają pytania o zasady moralne i podają w wątpliwość, a nawet kwestionują wartości religijne i kulturowe, poszukując głębszego sensu. Rzym jawi się jako współczesne miasto grzechu (biblijna Sodoma i Gomora), gdzie świętość i czystość coraz trudniej odnaleźć.

    The theatre and the camera. On cinematic meetings with the theatre of Leszek Mądzik

    The article deals with the problem of filmmaking of the theatrical performances created by the Artistic Stage of KUL. On the other hand, concerns the issue of the film recording of Leszek Mądzik's stage works. The authoress writes about it from the perspective of a film director and as a researcher analyzing visual arts. It refers to psychological and post-structural film theories, especially in french science. In the article can be also find personal reflections on the film recordings of theatrical work. The authoress tries to give an answer to how the presence of the camera transforms the performances. Artykuł porusza problem filmowości spektakli „Sceny Plastycznej KUL”. Z drugiej strony podejmuje problem filmowego zapisu dzieł teatralnych Leszka Mądzika. Autorka pisze o tym z perspektywy reżysera filmowego, a także badacza analizującego sztuki wizualne. Odnosi się do psychologicznych i poststukturalnych teorii filmowych, obecnych zwłaszcza w nauce francuskiej. W artykule odnaleźć można również osobiste refleksje dotyczące zapisów filmowych dzieła teatralnego. Autorka próbuje dać też odpowiedź na pytanie, w jaki sposób obecność kamery przekształca spektakle.

    Zwykły człowiek jako bohater filmu dokumentalnego

    Artykuł poświęcony problemowi bohatera w filmie dokumentalnym. Autorka zastanawia się nad samą naturą filmowego dokumentu, przywołuje kilka strategii realizacyjnych i prezentuje też swoje stanowisko jako reżysera filmowego. W tekście znajdują się odniesienia do koncepcji filmowych reprezentowanych m.in. przez K. Kieślowskiego, M. Łozińskiego, K. Karabasza, W. Staronia oraz twórców z nurtu tzw. kina rodzinnego. W sporej części artykułu autorka odwołuje się do dwóch przykładów filmów swojego autorstwa „W Nowicy na końcu świata” oraz „Sześć postaci”, gdzie bohaterami są zwykli ludzie. Poddaje te filmy dokładniejszej analizie. Article devoted to the problem of character in the documentary. The author reflects on the nature of the film document. The author cites several execution strategies and presents it to its position as a film director. The text makes reference to the concept of studios represented, among others, by the K. Kieślowski, M. Łoziński, K. Karabasz, W. Staroń and the creators of the so-called mainstream cinema family. In a large part of the article the author refers to two examples of films where the director „In Nowicy at the end of the world” and „Six Characters”. The protagonists of these films are ordinary people.
