    "Ewangelie i Epistoły" Jakuba Wujka z 1593 r. i ich rewizja (ok. 1594-1595). O genezie wczesnonowożytnego katolickiego zbioru czytań liturgicznych w języku polskim

    Artykuł dotyczy tekstowo-translatorycznej genezy "Ewangelii i Epistoł", polskiego lekcjonarza autorstwa Jakuba Wujka, wydanego po raz pierwszy w 1593 r., zrewidowanego ok. 1594/1595 r. i wydanego ponad 90 razy na przestrzeni XVII i XVIII wieku. Po omówieniu podstawowego kontekstu powstawania kolejnych wydań tzw. Biblii Wujka (perykopy ewangeliczne zawarte w jego zbiorze homiletycznym, Nowy Testament z 1593 i 1594 r. oraz Biblia Starego i Nowego Testamentu z 1599 r.), korpusu materiału i metodyki analizy, część I zawiera ogólną charakterystykę editio princeps lekcjonarza, część II przedstawia relacje perykop NT z kolejnymi wydaniami „Biblii Wujka” oraz źródłami przekładu - a także metodę translatorską Wujka - natomiast część III dotyczy perykop ST. Część IV zawiera analizę rewizji "Ewangelii i Epistoł" z 1593 r. dokonanej ok. 1594/1595 r. na podstawie Nowego Testamentu z 1594 r. W podsumowaniu zebrano wnioski i postawiono pytania badawcze wynikające z omówionych analiz. The paper explores the textual and translatory origins of Gospels and Epistles, a Polish lectionary collection by Jakub Wujek, first published in 1593, revised around 1594–1595, and reprinted over 90 times throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. After discussin g (in section 1) the basic context of the creation of the successive editions of the so-called Wujek’s Bible (Gospel pericopes included in his homiletic collection, the New Testaments of 1593 and 1594, and the Old and New Testament Bible of 1599), the corpus of material and the methodology of analysis, section 2 presents a general characterisation of the lectionary collection’s editio princeps, section 3 shows the relationship of the NT pericopes to the successive editions of “Wujek’s Bible” and the sources of translation – as well as Wujek’s translation method – whereas section 4 examines the OT pericopes. Part 5 analyses the revision of the 1593 Gospels and Epistles carried out c. 1594–1595 based on the 1594 New Testament. The summary gathers conclusions and poses research questions arising from the analyses presented.

    Jan ze Lwowa i Erazm z Rotterdamu. Grecki tekst Nowego Testamentu a pierwodruk (1561) oraz zrewidowana edycja (1575) "Biblii Leopolity"

    Autor dowodzi, że tłumaczenie Nowego Testamentu z katolickiej Biblii Leopolity (1561) jest w znacznej mierze oparte na tekście greckim Erazma z Rotterdamu oraz jego pracach tekstualno-krytycznych, zawartych w Novum Instrumentum. Autor dowodzi ponadto, że wpływ ten był eliminowany w zrewidowanej edycji Biblii Leopolity z 1575 r. Tezy te wsparte są analizą ośmiu przykladów wpływów prac Erazma na polską translację. Author argues that the translation of the New Testament from the Polish Catholic Leopolita’s Bible (1561) was, to a significant extent, based on Erasmus’ of Rotterdam Greek text, and textual-critical scholarship as in the editions of Novum Instrumentum. Furthermore author argues that this influence was being removed in the revised edition of the Leopolita’s Bible (1575) because it was considered as controversial by some of the Catholics. These theses are supported by discussing eight textual examples of Erasmus’ influence on the Polish translation (out of 18 identified dependencies).
