Miejsce literatury w budowaniu tekstu homilii.

The history of Christianity is a continuous development process of the thoughts and works of Jesus Christ, which can be summarized in the idea of existence "for" others. The focus of many theologians’ work is directed toward the issue of pro-existence, which has been developed through reflection and also inspired by New Testament Revelation. This inspiration was a feature of style and content of Archbishop Alfons Nossol’s work and pastoral ministry for over 30 year. These attributes were key to the creation and development of his work, which systematized the pro-existential references that he had emerged in his preaching. The basis of this publication is the doctoral dissertation defended at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin entitled: The Idea of Pro‐Existence in the Preaching of Archbishop Alfons Nossol. The dissertation has been written under the supervision of Rev prof. Stanisław Dyk in 2014. For the purposes of this publication, the topic has been reformulated to: Pro‐Existence in the Christian Life. Existence "for" Others in Archbishop Alfons Nossol Preaching. This opus aims to draw attention to the most important issues concerning the idea of existence "for" others. Through-out the analysis of the phenomenon of ‘pro-existence’ there is an acceptance of the formulation of a thesis that a principle of this idea can focus on humanity. This existence and action “for” a man (with a view to man) were the motives of Christ's redemptive deeds. The work of being "for" man has its source is the Son of God and is reflected and repeated in the lives of Mary and the saints. All pro-existence, on the other hand, remains the responsibility of the believer, who can choose to pursue a path of life as being for "others" in union with Jesus

The Homily in The Eyes of The Youth: The Problem of Symmetry. A Sociological and Textual Analysis
(Towarzystwo Naukowe Franciszka Salezego, 2022) Adamczyk, Tomasz; Klementowicz, Michał
The article discusses the category of symmetry. As a linguistic category, it is mainly studied in the context of ‘linguistic politeness.’ In textual studies, symmetry defines the shape of an utterance. In the process of communication, symmetry helps prevent differences between the subjects regarding their professional status, different social position or knowledge levels. The sociological studies (survey data from ca. 1 400 participants) show the urgent need to apply symmetry in homiletics as a response to various shortcomings of the process of exchanging thoughts during liturgy. Symmetry in sermons should be achieved in a twofold manner: 1. by maintaining the dialogical structure of the sermon; 2. by precisely defining the questio of the homily.
